Antique Plinth Pedestal Plant Stand Wooden #D147

An antique wooden pedestal plinth with carved corinthian leaves and turned support.
 
It has some gold leaf highlights added as the original gilding was very worn. The wood has also been cleaned and oiled bringing out the character and colour of the wood.
 
One of the tips of the leaves is missing and there are some chips around the base. All of these I would say is not usual for an item of this age and only adds to it's character.
 
It looks stunning with a plant on top or could even look good with a vase.
