Vintage Wooden Sign Double Sided

A characterful vintage wooden advertising sign featuring two different designs, one on each side.

One side features bold lettering advertising Gardening Hardware and Swimming Pool Chemicals, with a striking yellow background, red lettering and blue detailing.

The reverse side has a deep blue background with contrasting lettering reading Coal Merchant / Potato Merchant.

The sign has plenty of vintage charm, with its original-style painted finish, bold typography and wonderfully nostalgic shop signage aesthetic. It would make an eye-catching decorative piece for a vintage shop, industrial-style interior, garden room, studio, bar or commercial space.

There are two metal hanging hooks along the top edge, allowing the sign to be suspended from a ceiling or overhead fitting so both sides can be seen. It also has screw holes, suggesting it may previously have been fixed to a wall.

The sign shows signs of age and use, including paint chips, scuffs and surface wear, which add to its authentic vintage character.

A distinctive piece of old shop signage, ideal for collectors of vintage advertising, unusual interiors and industrial memorabilia.
