Vintage Pair of Cinema Seat Backs for Spares

A pair of vintage cinema or theatre seat backs dating from around the 1950s, ideal for restoration projects, spare parts, or creative upcycling.
 
The seat backs feature a durable blue vinyl upholstered front with curved shaping for comfort, complemented by walnut-coloured plywood backs which give them a classic mid-century auditorium aesthetic. The reverse also includes handy storage pockets for programmes or small personal items, suggesting they were likely originally used in a theatre setting.
 
They are in nice vintage condition with light signs of age and use, consistent with their history. Please note these are the seat backs only. One of the images shows how they originally sat on their bases, which have now been sold separately.
 
An interesting and characterful pair, perfect for restoration or bespoke seating projects.
