VINTAGE SCHOOL CHEST OF DRAWERS

A large institutional set of 12 drawers that have been recently sanded and oiled. I have also added some feet so the unit is set off the ground creating a nice shadow gap underneath. 

The drawers are in used condition with signs of wear adding to their years history and institutional aesthetic. They are very sturdy, strong and built to last with dovetail joints. The unit is heavy but when all the drawers are removed it becomes manageable to move around. 

I could imagine them being used in a kitchen underneath a countertop or as bedroom drawers. 

Sadly the key is missing so they no longer lock.

Each drawer has a perspex window where the handle is with metal plate behind.
