Vintage Industrial Coffee Table Storage Box

A vintage wooden military storage chest.
 
It features some 5 metal clips to hold the lid on (one is missing) and there is some rope at both ends originally used as handles.
 
There are now some new hairpin legs making it suitable for storage or as a coffee table and it has been cleaned and waxed inside and out.
 
Very strong and sturdy.
 
On the side is a stamp with 1942 so it was more than likely used during WW2 to store ammunition.
 
I have some others with varying leg heights available in other listings.
On castor wheels.
